As in most Top MLM opportunities today, in order to be successful, your upline people will tell you that you need leads and in this particular case Nuskin Leads. That may well be so, but I am going to convince you otherwise. I am going to suggest that after you get to the bottom of this post you will check out the link that you are directed to. In 1984, Nedra Roney and her brother Blake came up with an idea for a skin care company with a difference, in those days neither of them would ever have imagined that Nu Skin™ Enterprises would one day boast more than $1.2 billion dollars in sales. Activity of Enzyme on Skin Cells Correlates with Age
KYOTO, Japan—May 14, 2008—New research funded by Nu Skin Enterprises on internal causes of aging has identified a previously unknown source of superoxide free radicals. Free radicals from external triggers, such as sun exposure and cigarette smoke, have long been known to damage skin cells and components of the skin’s extracellular matrix, including collagen and elastin.
Scientists from Nu Skin Enterprises and Purdue University report their novel research findings on age-related NADH oxidase (arNOX) this week in Kyoto, Japan, at International Investigative Dermatology 2008 (IID2008), a major scientific venue for the latest information on skin biology. The scientists present compelling evidence that arNOX, an enzyme associated with cell membranes, is present and active on skin cells. Significantly, arNOX activity increases during the “aging” years of about 45-70.
“Identifying skin-associated arNOX and its increasing activity with age is a breakthrough discovery in understanding skin aging,” said Zoe Diana Draelos, MD, primary investigator with Dermatology Consulting Services, member of the Nu Skin Scientific Advisory Board and one of the study authors. “Currently, most dermatological research focuses on correcting skin damage after it occurs. Identifying an internal source of free radicals in skin, and advancing an understanding of how and why they are generated, adds to our ability to address Age-related Enzyme fundamental mechanisms that may combine with external sources to lead to accelerated skin aging. ”
Not only do you get to improve people’s lives by introducing them to Nu Skin’s superior products, but you are financially rewarded for doing so. Nu Skin’s compensation plan is one of the most generous in the direct selling industry.
However, you cannot do it alone, you need a team of distributors and having spent a lot of time and money in getting your team, and probably not without some frustration, you then have to keep them motivated. It is a never ending task. In order to find team members most people have to buy leads. Here is an example of what I mean.
IF YOU ARE NEW TO BUYING LEADS, HERE’S A HEADS UP!
You will need to call hundreds of leads to find one who is remotely interested. You need to have excellent telemarketing skills. You will need to take the abuse and rejection that you will receive from 90% of the people you call. You may be very good at telemarketing and rejection doesn’t bother you. Personally, I do not know many people who can say this, and even if you are good at closing leads, the majority of people are not, meaning your business will be difficult, at best, to grow in this way.
What about your downline? Realize that your entire downline is not customers but distributors just like you. Are they all going to buy leads and do this too? Nope.
I don’t buy Nuskin leads. I buy customers. They cost $50 each. Half of what the results of buying leads conversion cost without all the time spent. I don’t have to make any calls. I don’t get rejected. I do not have good telemarketing skills. I don’t need them.
And when I buy customers, they appear in my downline with out any effort on my part. And the 10% of my downline that are distributors do the same thing. Man-O-man we are happy buying customers not leads!
