Insurance Leads

Should you just buy your insurance leads? A lot of people will tell you that you should, simply because it’s very convenient.
Gathering leads can definitely take you a lot of time. First you need to determine how you can get these leads, set up a website, or create an opt-in list. Then you may have to market your business to attract more prospects. You may be getting insurance leads, but it’s not going to be as many as the ones you can obtain when you simply buy them.

How You Buy Insurance Leads

The best way to buy insurance leads is to go online. There are plenty of lead companies out there, so you won’t have a problem looking for one. They already have the technology in place that will help them gather
leads that are not interested in the insurance policies that you’re currently selling. When these leads are already gathered, they will be passed on to you and other agents. Nurturing and keeping track of them will then be your sole responsibility.
Screening the Lead Company
Sounds so easy? It is, but then you also have to think about the quality of the leads that are being generated. A number of these companies are certified failures in this department. After all, their goal is to get as many leads as possible for their clients. If you want to buy your insurance leads, you need to make sure that you’re dealing with the best lead-generation company. Here are some questions you’ll want to consider before making a decision.
Does the lead provider protect against agents from the same company getting the same lead? For example, will two or three agents get the same lead? Most lead companies don’t offer this protection.
Does the lead company require you to purchase a minimum amount of leads? The bottom line is, the leads should speak for themselves. The amount of leads should be up to you. If the company requires a minimum of 50 leads at one time, that’s fair. That many at one time should throw up a red flag. A good rule of thumb is to try 10 leads before making a decision about the quality of the lead source
How much do the leads cost? Obviously, cost is a major factor when entering into a relationship with any insurance lead company. Compare lead costs as a factor, but don’t let this be all that you focus on. Most health leads cost in between $5 to $10 dollars a piece.
Yes It’s good Business to Buy Customers
That’s right; buy customers, not leads. I buy customers. What is a customer? Individuals or households that purchase goods and services…”? There you have the secret to success; buy individuals that are spending money, and doing it month after month after month.
I don’t waste my time trying to turn a lead into a customer. I don’t keep calling so-called “phone insurance leads” that cost me five to ten dollars, and try to turn him or her into a customer. I buy customers! Plain and simple, I BUY CUSTOMERS!
