Now Avon Leads the way as a great company and has an outstanding and well respected product line but they still use both the old style of marketing AND the allow the res to buy Avon Leads.

Network Marketing and MLM business have been buying Avon Leads, any leads and harassing people for years and because of this they have gotten a bit of a black eye. Also there is the other old way of building a business.

Often people interested in joining an MLM are ‘put off’ because they don’t want to chase friends or family. It can be that you do not like to approach strangers even when you are out on business. When you are expected to make a list and try and make everyone you know join as well, it can lead to feelings of embarrassment and frustration. Network marketing is not everyone’s cup of tea and just knowing someone does not follow that they would join the venture. Even though your family member or friend may be interested in the product that you are offering, they probably don’t have any intention whatsoever of making it a business.

I can remember about 20 years ago realizing every breathing person was a ‘mark’ and I was always working my business. To achieve the level of success I rose too, I talked to everyone who moved or sat, either way I’d give it a go. Also spent a lot of time teaching my recruits to do the same process. Although I made rather large amounts of money I will admit I never hired anyone who worked harder or rose farther than I did.

I did see a lot of dreams dashed because of the system we were taught to use. I saw families slit because the one working the MLM would go after all their friends and family. Finally I walked away from a very lucrative position. But it just didn’t feel right any more.
